Nexus Station

A need to reconnect & create

The creative scene is hungry for real-life, high-quality moments, a warm bubble away from the pressure of constant posting, networking and “performing” online. Nexus Station was built as an event by creatives, for creatives, designed to help people reconnect, exchange ideas, get inspired and leave recharged.

At the same time, there’s a real need to make art more accessible. Creativity isn’t something that should be gatekept by an elite, it exists in everyday life and everyone should have the right to create and appreciate art, regardless of their cultural background. Nexus Station was imagined as a welcoming entry point: a place where meeting artists feels easy, where participation feels natural and where art feels human rather than intimidating.

A community-led creative festival

Nexus Station is a community-led creative festival and association I co-founded and manage. Designed as an accessible entry point to art and making and hosted at Les Frigos de Paris, it combines two core pillars:

  • a creator market where emerging artists can meet people directly (no gallery codes, no intimidation)

  • hands-on workshops that turn visitors into participants, making creativity feel doable, not reserved for an “elite”

Around that, we add cultural moments (DJ sets, pop-ups, tattoos) to keep the weekend warm, social, and easy to live, more hangout than exhibition. The goal is simple: connect creators and audiences and make art feel like something anyone can engage with, whatever their background.

Vol.1 (June 7–9, 2024):

~15 artists/creatives, 600+ visitors, creator market + DJ sets + flash tattoo + panel.

Vol.2 (June 13–15, 2025):

bigger program (incl. photo booth, collectible boosters, workshops with Rougier & Plé), coinciding with Les Frigos Open Doors; 1,000+ visitors.

What I shipped

- Co-founded and managed the association and the festival production (end-to-end ownership)

- Co-built the event format & programming (DJ sets, creator market, workshops, activations like photo booth / boosters in Vol.2)

- Coordinated collaborators and partnerships (including workshop collaboration with Rougier & Plé for Vol.2)

- Supervised team execution (briefing, coordination, on-site operations) and ensured the event delivered a consistent experience at scale

- Supervised the visual identity made by Hénagone

Learnings

- co-manage an association and lead a team (brief, coordinate, keep alignment under pressure)

- produce a full weekend event with multiple moving parts (program, flow, partners, volunteers, audience)

- build and federate a community over editions, while respecting a defined budget and scaling smartly
